My mother passed away in 2020 and I was not sure if I had to go through probate with her estate. I also had questions about the deed to a house she had owned in Oregon.

Ed Goodson was easy to get in touch with by phone, and very generous with his time. He is very knowledgeable not only of California law, but also pretty savvy with Oregon state estate issues. (He was quick to advise me to get an Oregon probate lawyer for the Oregon house deed. He's no fool.)

Ed was extremely comfortable to talk to and listened well to the myriad details of the issues surrounding my mother's estate. He pointed out some really important information that I had not had but needed to know.

We spoke for about an hour, which somehow still counted as a free consultation. But I'll be going back to him to set up a trust for my assets and  any future trust and estate issues, because I know what kind of trust/estate lawyer he is to deal with: very clear and reassuring, yet quick to point out what areas are not part of his expertise. Superior attention to detail and quick to zero in on the important details that need action.

I'm really happy I called him and that I now have a good trust and estate lawyer to call upon.
Great experience! Working with Liz during the difficult process of settling my mother's trust was nothing short of incredible. She was not only professional and timely (many things are time sensitive during this process) but kind and patient when it matters most. I was completely lost on even where to begin, but she guided me along the way and answered my many questions without hesitation or judgement. I highly recommend Liz and her firm.
